Mini Challenge 3

I’m not the only one who has a bunch of podbooks sitting in my itunes Books folder, right? Go flick through them and see all the pretty pictures spin by, aren’t they incredible! Do you know who gets even less credit than the people who perform the stories? The cover artists.

If you go to the original post, or the podbook post, there is usually a credit for the cover artist. Find them and tell them how much it makes you grin when you see their art pop up on your ipod!


Successfully completing this challenge will earn you 5 points for each piece of feedback you leave, up to a maximum of 20 points (ie 4 pieces of feedback)

The good thing about podficcing is that if you want to be a lone wolf you can be but if you *don't* then there's heaps of people that will rally around you and help with covers and podbooking and beta'ing and cheerleading.

In conclusion: covers are awesome!

Oh, that's a really good idea! (I don't really have podbooks since my mp3 player won't play them and also doesn't display covers, but I'll look through my podfics on my computer - some of the mp3s have covers as well.)

It's becoming more and more common to see mp3's with covers attached which I think is cool and looks very professional:)

Good idea for a challenge. I admit I have been guilty of taking cover art for granted. (Going back and leaving feedback for cover artists also inspired me to leave belated feedback on some of the accompanying podfic.)

I don't think I know *anyone* who doesn't take the art for granted, it's easy not to think about where it came from or who created it. And it's cool that you're using this challenge as a stepping stone to leaving even *more* feedback for the performers as well:)

I hadn't even realised that two covers I absolutely love were in fact created by the same person. D: Eye-opening, for sure.
